Case Study

aRISTA rECORDS

Our work with Arista Records began through a close partnership with an emerging artist at a pivotal moment in their growth. Instead of taking a traditional label-first approach, we immersed ourselves in the artist’s world to fully understand their sound, story, and audience.

From the start, the focus was on translating the artist’s identity into content that felt authentic, cinematic, and emotionally driven. We supported content creation, music video editing, and overall marketing strategy, building a digital presence that went beyond promotion and into storytelling.

HOW IT STARTED

OUR STRATEGY

We began by A/B testing multiple content formats, evaluating hooks, pacing, visuals, and storytelling styles to understand what resonated most with the audience. Once a winning format emerged, we intentionally doubled down, scaling what worked while continuing to refine creative execution. This approach ultimately led to over 150 million organic views, driven by consistency rather than virality alone.

The strategy centered on storytelling and narrative-led content, not simply promoting releases but creating moments audiences could emotionally connect with. We took a gardened approach to growth by planting intentional content, nurturing it over time, and allowing momentum to build organically.

Our focus was on short-form video optimized for Instagram and TikTok, blending music snippets, visual storytelling, behind-the-scenes moments, and performance-driven edits. Every piece of content was designed to feel native to each platform while reinforcing the artist’s brand, tone, and emotional identity.

By aligning creative direction with strategic release timing, we ensured content did more than generate views. It converted attention into streams, sustained listener interest, and supported long-term growth beyond a single post.

The results spoke for themselves.

Through organic content alone, the artist generated over 150 million views across Instagram and TikTok, driving massive visibility and sustained momentum. This reach extended beyond impressions, with social growth translating directly into increased streams and chart performance, including placements on Spotify and Apple Music.

More importantly, the audience was deeply engaged. Viewers became listeners, and listeners became fans who actively followed the artist’s journey and showed up consistently across platforms.

That same community strength carried over to new channels. When we launched the artist on YouTube Shorts from zero, we repurposed top-performing content and the existing fanbase followed. In just one month, the account grew to over 35,000 followers, proving the audience was not platform-dependent, but artist-loyal.

This case study highlights the power of intentional storytelling, creator-first strategy, and organic social execution in today’s music landscape. When content is rooted in authenticity, meaningful growth follows.
